Russians ousted British from property market of Phuket 08.09.2011

In Q1 2011 number of property deals has significantly increased on this resort. Realtors report that demand was shaped Russian buyers, who oust such active buyers as British.

According to Erawana Company, in the first six months sales’ number in Phuket went up by 25% year-on-year. Specialists believe that the total deals’ volume reached 5,4 billion baht (€125 mln) for the year, while this indicator of 2010 worked out 4 billion baht (€93 mln), Bangkok Post reports.

Cyprus authorities plan to increase property taxes 20.08.2011

The government intends to support Cyprus economy by taxes increase. Such changes will also affect property owners.

The government plans to decrease an immovable price of property, which tax is paid off. If previously homeowners, whose property was worth less than € 170 000 didn’t pay the tax, soon all properties worth higher than € 120 000 will be taxable, Tax News reports.
According to preliminary information, following property tax rates will be fixed on Cyprus.

from 300 up to 500 0,6%

In Rumania the number of transactions decreased on 15% 16.12.2008

Under the influence the number of property’s transactions in Rumania decreased. Also the fall has toughed the prices of property.

According to Rumania Notary union of state notaries, on September-October the total number of transactions with property decreased on 15% in comparison with year-on-year. In spite the fact that some fall was noticed on May, but main part was in autumn.

Yalta imposed moratorium for plots’ giving till confirmation of rights of city’s development. This prohibition is for the territory which is lower than highway Yalta-South coast highway.

In press-service of Yalta was admitted that it is temporarily moratorium for plots giving in property or for rent by citizens and legal persons.

The action of moratorium is planed till finishing the development and confirmation on the session of city council of Yalta. The document will be on April sitting 2009.
